Kunolunkhwa means “I love you” in Oneida. Family preservation, family connection and communication is of extreme importance for First Nation Families. This family program training provides hands on art expression. Each facilitator will learn a 6 week program to help families who have been impacted by intergenerational trauma.
This training will provide many different tools to share with families within your community. This program will provide you with the ability to customize the program to suit your cultural practices. This training is a 2 day hands on training within the comfort of your own community. Art supplies will be provided by trainer.
Culture and identity is key for a strong foundation. Cultural teachings and ceremony is essential for every single participant in this program. Each participant within the Kunolunkhwa Family Program will create their own bundle for their family. They will take their bundle and teachings and share them with the future generations.
